Adelina Hmelevska Announced as Northern Regional Student Judge 2018

Adelina is a past student of Moate Community School, Westmeath and is currently studying social studies in Maynooth University. She competed in the 2014 Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture competition with her design ‘Mediva’ which was made from coke can ring pulls. It really captured the attention of the judges and she was announced as the Bank of Ireland Glamour Prize Winner in the 3Arena. As part of her prize she was whisked off to London, where she attended and walked the red carpet at the Royal Film Premiere of “Spectre”.

Adelina will join the judging panel at the Northern Regional Final on the 1st March 2018, as the student judge – “Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture is a fantastic platform for any creative career and helped me build some great friendships. It may be a competition, but it is not all about winning, it’s about having fun and showing off your creativity. This year I am keen to see what materials the students have used as they get more imaginative and unique each year. But most importantly enjoy it. Best of luck to all the entrants.”
